Too long waiting period, when I asked the lady who finally helped me after 50mins she said they have few staff. For the sake of time management I suggest they add more staff because it's irritating to wait this long. I also suggest you have a suggestion box or anywhere we can voice our dissatisfaction so as to improve your service.

Restricted card

Please note that my card has been restricted because of fica documents, this was given last week Tuesday and today is Monday the card is still restricted and cannot access the funds which is not right when I was told it will take up to 72 hrs. S.Chowtee

Having same issue currently I never even received sms, Nedbank is good at frustrating their client . These days banks sent notifications via app as well, how sure are they that one received sms,

On the 18 December 2023 i reported my lost cellphone to Nedbank since it is insured. My claim was referred to their investigator who then contacted me and requested more information and certain documents to be emailed to her.

upon doing so, my claim was successful and was informed via sms (message) in my phone that settlement will be made within three working days, but up to date no payment or settlement made to me.

numerous calls were made to the bank, and was promised that i will be contacted but no one contacted me.
I am also thinking of moving all my insured items to another service provider where clients are taken into consideration. i am serious hurting and disappointed with Nedbank services

Nedbank - no support or customer service While outside of Namibia Nedbank's EFT payments are impossible due to OTP codes service being not operational. Nedbank does not react to numerous requests sent to solve the problem: managers Denillo Cloete and Bernard Gurirab ignore e-mailed requests. Result is impossibility to make EFT transfers. Nedbank however duly charges hefty "service" fees every month without providing service.

Account hold

I only realise when I had to release my car from dealer that I cannot use my card, I then went to bank was told sms was sent to my cellphone number which I never received, banks these days have several ways to communicate with their client like notifications on app for vital issues like FICA, they cannot even prove that I did receive SMS. The manager who I guess is the owner of that branch he said there is nothing he can do for me to access my money, I felt like a homeless person, they said they dont care weather have to walk back home I will have that money, I did not abide to the law.

I had to walk back home about 20km because I could not even afford a taxi or ehailing services. Thats when I realise Nedbank is not a bank but kind of franchise , a bank would have made sure I access the money I needed for that moment I.e manual withdrawal.

Can someone please explain to me how a payment to bank approved beneficiary can totally mess up a persons entire banking profile? Needles to say, the payment wasn't even processed and we are left with an account that is totally inaccessable to us in any shape or form. Nobody seems to be able to resolve the problem in order for us to have access to our account. Where to from here, we are LOST???

On 17th I went into nedbank Windermere in Durban, to cancel a debit order. I was told if it would cost R72 to cancel the debit order for 3 months. So I ask them to do that. Alas the debit order went off as normal. Nedbank should refund this fee as they didn't fulfill their end of the transaction

Unhappy about the service received regarding closed account

I was at Nedbank Mall of The South branch over a week ago to query a closed account that was reopened without my knowledge.

The consultant mentioned that my query would be resolved within three days and that the bank charges that were mistakenly put under my name would be wiped off and deposited in the pay as you use account that I opened on the day of the query. (Basically my aunt deposited money into the closed account and when I went to the bank to enquire about the next steps I was told that my account was reopened by the backoffice and that is why the bank charges were deducted from the deposited money).

I am in need of that amount urgently as it was meant for another cause.
