Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology.
upon doing so, my claim was successful and was informed via sms (message) in my phone that settlement will be made within three working days, but up to date no payment or settlement made to me.
numerous calls were made to the bank, and was promised that i will be contacted but no one contacted me.
I am also thinking of moving all my insured items to another service provider where clients are taken into consideration. i am serious hurting and disappointed with Nedbank services

I only realise when I had to release my car from dealer that I cannot use my card, I then went to bank was told sms was sent to my cellphone number which I never received, banks these days have several ways to communicate with their client like notifications on app for vital issues like FICA, they cannot even prove that I did receive SMS. The manager who I guess is the owner of that branch he said there is nothing he can do for me to access my money, I felt like a homeless person, they said they dont care weather have to walk back home I will have that money, I did not abide to the law.
I had to walk back home about 20km because I could not even afford a taxi or ehailing services. Thats when I realise Nedbank is not a bank but kind of franchise , a bank would have made sure I access the money I needed for that moment I.e manual withdrawal.

Unhappy about the service received regarding closed account
I was at Nedbank Mall of The South branch over a week ago to query a closed account that was reopened without my knowledge.
The consultant mentioned that my query would be resolved within three days and that the bank charges that were mistakenly put under my name would be wiped off and deposited in the pay as you use account that I opened on the day of the query. (Basically my aunt deposited money into the closed account and when I went to the bank to enquire about the next steps I was told that my account was reopened by the backoffice and that is why the bank charges were deducted from the deposited money).
I am in need of that amount urgently as it was meant for another cause.
